Cookie Policy

How Trustpanion uses cookies. Today: essential cookies only, no tracking.

The short version. Right now Trustpanion uses only essential cookies — the minimum needed to sign you in, keep you safe, and remember your country and language. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies (local storage, session tokens) work comparably; we use "cookies" to cover them all.

2. What we use today: essential only

These are strictly necessary to run the Platform, so they do not require consent — but you deserve to know about them: • Authentication / session — keeps you signed in securely (via our provider Supabase). Duration: session / short-lived, renewed while active. • Security — protects against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and abuse. Duration: session. • Preferences — remembers your market (/uk, /cl, /us) and language. Duration: persistent (months). We set no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking cookies, and we do not use cookies to profile you.

3. What we deliberately don't do

No ad networks, no cross-site tracking, no selling or sharing of cookie data, no fingerprinting. For traffic measurement we use a privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics tool (Vercel Web Analytics) that measures aggregate traffic — page views and where visitors come from — without cookies, without cross-site tracking and without collecting personal data. Because we still set no non-essential cookies, the Platform shows no cookie-consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.

4. If this ever changes

If we introduce non-essential cookies, or any tracking that by law requires consent, we will: (a) update this Policy first, (b) present a consent banner where the law requires it (with "reject" as easy as "accept"), and (c) keep privacy-preserving defaults. Any future payment providers (Stripe, Payku) may set their own cookies during checkout; we will document them here before in-app payments launch.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in and core features from working — that's not us being difficult; the service genuinely can't run without them.
