Verified companionship for older adults

Consistent company against isolation, with vetted companions, the same person, and reporting. At a fraction of the cost of regulated care.

Isolation accelerates decline in older adults and raises system costs. The low-cost intervention, consistent human company, is exactly what volunteering (1-2 hours, a different person each time) and regulated care don't solve. Trustpanion brings verified companions who take recurring hours with the same person, with traceability and reporting.

Companionship, not care

Companion ≠ carer. It is company and activity, never personal care: a non-regulated activity, no CQC or licence. Regulated care is referred to accredited providers.

What we deliver

Vetted companions

Background checks before taking institutional hours, with safeguarding arrangements agreed with each partner.

The same person

Consistency and rapport: the same companion each week, not a different one every time.

Verified identity

Identity verified on both sides. You know who enters the home; the companion is protected too.

Traceability and reporting

Hours, visit notes and a full record, all traceable for your procurement reporting.

The companion never touches money

The older adult keeps full control of their own money. Companions never handle their cash, cards or PIN, never pay their bills and never shop on their behalf: on a shopping trip they accompany, the older adult chooses and pays. Sessions run on start and end codes and every hour is logged.

Far lower cost

A fraction of the cost of regulated care, for a need care doesn't solve: isolation.

Who it's for

United Kingdom

Councils with adult social care, NHS discharge teams and social prescribing. Reference companion care from ~£25/hour; a single council has thousands in its caseload.

United States

Area Agencies on Aging, senior services organizations and Medicare Advantage plans with supplemental benefits for social isolation. Non-medical companionship is an eligible, fast-growing category, contracted by the hour with the same verified companion.

Chile

Municipalities with older-adult programmes. Vitacura is a concrete target: its older-adults department already runs weekly volunteer companionship and telecare.

How we work with you

We meet your procurement and safeguarding standards. A simple framework agreement, recurring hours assigned to the same person, and reporting of hours and notes. We start with a scoped pilot and scale on results.

Companions accompany and never act on the older adult's behalf: they never handle their money, never shop for them and never drive them. It is not a regulated activity (no CQC).
